Curriculum Vitae

Anchor 1

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Lacanian Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.

Taking part in a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy means to find the words to say something you can't say because you don't recognize what it is, or on the other hand, you are aware of it and you don't feel comfortable talking about it.

Conversely there could also be a symptom that you can't explain or a trauma.

Furthermore, it also means not only trying to treat a symptom, but also to do without it. As a result, if you consider the symptoms as signals of something unconscious, and you find the way to express yourself through words, these weaknesses could turn into strengths.

I'm a Psychologist and Lacanian Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist.

I work using a psychoanalytic and psychodynamic approach.

At the centre of the therapy there is the person's uniqueness. The treatment proceeds from the breaking point, or from a symptom, or perhaps from something the patient is not aware of, through to the possibility that these weaknesses are converted into strengths.

November 2012 - October 2015

During this time I was the Clinical and Educational Coordinator for the Mental Health Care Home "Microcomunità Giambellino", in the "Fraternità e amicizia Cooperative Society".

The project was sponsored by Milan Municipality.

There were four guests, who were suffering from mild to medium intellectual disability and psychiatric comorbidity. The project's aim was to help these people to find better mental balance, and to become more independent from the family, and to be more autonomous in their everyday life.

I also worked in the clinical centre of the cooperative, "Animamentis", where I treated a number of people with good clinical outcomes. In addition, I received some students in my private practice when the situation required more then solely school support.

Pychologist - Psychotherapist trainee

Once I had qualified as a psychologist I started the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist School and I became a trainee psychotherapist at the Fourth Department of the Psychiatric Clinic at Niguarda Hospital in Milan, where I was treating patients.
